QUANTUM HOUSE

Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition. By providing a safe, welcoming space, we help families focus on what matters most – the health and well-being of their children. 

Our programs, meals, and comfortable accommodations offer both practical support and a sense of community, so no family has to face these challenges alone. Every day, we strive to lift spirits, ease stress, and create moments of comfort during difficult times.

Special Olympics Florida

Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and competition in Olympic-style sports for people with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to create opportunities for athletes of all abilities to build physical fitness, develop skills, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while fostering friendships with their families, fellow athletes, and the community.

We believe in the power of sports to transform lives. By promoting respect and unity, we empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to become valued and productive members of society. Through every practice, competition, and celebration, our athletes showcase their talents, resilience, and determination, while inspiring greater awareness of their capabilities.

Participation in Special Olympics Florida is always free of charge and open to individuals of all backgrounds who meet the eligibility criteria. With a wide range of sports, programs, and activities for every ability level, we ensure that every athlete has the chance to grow, succeed, and belong.

Together with the support of families, coaches, volunteers, and partners we are building a community of respect and opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities across Florida.

Palm Beach Roadrunners

The Palm Beach Roadrunners, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization promoting physical fitness through running, are honored to be a charity partner for this year’s U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon. Your support means the world to us!

We’re passionate about supporting local Title 1 high school and middle school running programs. We provide equipment, apparel, coaching, and event support for student athletes. We also offer grants and scholarships to individuals and local school programs, highlighting the virtues of volunteerism, inclusivity, and the benefits of fitness through running. We’ve even sent student athletes to summer training camps and underwritten run programs to encourage young runners of all abilities in structured track and cross-country programs.

With several hundred annual members, the Palm Beach Roadrunners are a vibrant part of the community. We host three popular races: Run 4 The Pies (four-mile), Classics By The Sea (5k and 10k), and the annual Shamrock Run (10-miler and 5k). These events bring together runners, walkers, and families for friendly competition and fundraising.

Whether you’re a local runner or visiting for the race, you might know our club! Come visit the Palm Beach Roadrunners tent on race weekend near the Start and Finish line. We love meeting fellow runners from across the country and around the world!
